Our Mission

Hillcrest UMC Elkhart Campus, is a community of three (Church, Childcare, and El Refugio), but collectively a community that is actively inviting others into a growing relationship with Jesus.

Through the various ways we belong to one another and the campus, our hope is to rebuild and renew our community.

We grown in grace, forgiveness and love, as people who are created in the image of God.

We choose to build one another up in love, mercy and grace. So that the world becomes a safer place.

Grow Together

In worship people come together to sing God’s praises. We offer ourselves in thanksgiving for the good Earth and the lives we live. Our hearts are warmed, while joyfully seeing and hearing God’s people join together in praise.  Worship an outward expression of the thankfulness we hold deep inside. We are called to replenish the souls that have forgotten or never known Christ. Through various offering of praise we are renewed and guided to make disciples for the transformation of the world-we express this in our caring for self, others, and for the world around us.

As we embrace the Trinity of Immanuel, God with us, we engage in bible study for the renewal of our minds, this in turn builds us up in good, as we learn to let go of our human tendencies that distract us and draws us away from God. The love of God fills our hearts, and guides us to a deeper understanding of the significance of God in our daily life.

For All Families

Staying in community takes courage, it takes courage to grow in faith, to grow in loving and difficult relationship, and it takes grace and forgiveness to remain in community. We believe that learning and asking questions about our faith is how we grow.
